If the structural ills that afflict this country are not dealt with, things will get a lot worse. Because both parties seem to have failed in the past is no reason to believe that failure is inevitable. You once wrote that you saw some positives in obama regarding just this. No guarantees for you but i think he gets it. Someone has to get it either on right, left or center because the way we are going cannot be sustained.

It'll take at least that long for the (D)'s to dig out from the Bush depression and the Bush debt. Didn't the (R)'s blame every problem a Clinton hangover for at least five years?
