Scary! at least when you're 8. We used to walk up to the theater, brown bag lunch full of peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and potato chips in hand and watch saturday matinee's. then we'd go to the whippy dip for soft ice cream afterwards. I lived in San Francisco for a year (I know, I hate to admit it). Used to go to a theatre in the Mission District, and I'd stop and pick up a burrito and couple beers, which I'd stuff into my pockets. Dinner and a show.
