He has no track record for lying. Actually, this is the one area where he DOES have a track record. He has lied repeatedly about his relationship with Wright, and clearly did so again yesterday on MTP. It is almost Clintonesque, the skill with which he did it. And it is very convenient that Russert let him off the hook on it. Folks who know him assure me of this. Maybe, but you cannot argue with the facts. He has lied time and again. PS i dont think the texas rangers won much more than now when bush was in charge but he is our president. No, but Bush wasn't charged with making them a winning team (although that would have been nice). He was charged with turning them into a profitable team, which he did. Prior to Bush's management, I spent many afternoons in an empty stadium in Arlington. But under Bush, that changed. That was his job and he clearly did it well.
