I suspect Michelle chose Wright and Obama followed her lead. Wouldn't be surprised if he only attended church services at Christmas, Easter and election time. Michelle probably took their girls to church alone most of the time--that's why he didn't hear hatemonger Jeremiah's anti-American rants. Although he certainly knew the radical liberation theology was Wright's bailiwick.
