Ten,

forget about environmentalism. I don't make those arguments, although I definitely side with scientific consensus when they emerge on issues.

However, the issues that most if not all Americans can agree on is that energy independence is good for this country's national and economic security. We should all get behind it for those reasons alone.

If someone can't get behind it for those reasons, I'd really have to wonder what they could be thinking.
