Just my opinion, but Wright doesn't seem like a very hard person to get to know.

Tim-

This was NOT one of my assumptions.<.if Obama only attended one service a year>

I stipulated that Obama was telling the truth when he said he never heard Rev. Wright issue an incendiary sermon.

To review what is known today...Obama was married by Wright, the kids were baptised by Wright, Wright is a father figure to Obama, Obamas gave ~$26,000. to the church last year. Obamas attended very frequently.

Net net...Obama is lying and his 20 year "father figure" is a anti-american, anti-white, racist of the highest order. Birds of a feather flock together.

Well then Obama has a problem offering value judgements to others. Just the same he endorsed the new replacement for Wright as wonderful <g> Otis, the new Pastor served up more than Wright did in anti-american rhetoric, to include giving aids to blacks etc etc etc.

If Obama attending only a minimum of sermons than he lies. He lies claiming Wright as a mentor and all the pleasant platitudes he directed at Wright prior to the falling out.

What it boils down to is simple, does Obama praise people he doesn't know?

He still has not denounced Ayres. Funny thing about Obama. He denounces thongs that were said and never people.

To me Obama seems much more like he is better suited as a hack in the State Department than a POTUS.

Tim, you do realize that only those who have already decided that Obama is full of baloney regarding these sermons would be agonizing over this. Instinctively people understand that to have attended a church for 20 years, it is pretty incredible to think that-even if only a small portion of sermons were this provocative- they wouldn't have been discussed and known to the members.

Those who have decided that Obama's membership in this church is either acceptable, understandable, or irrelevant, have done so. It's those who still are outraged by the association who keep trying to prove that there is no doubt. Preaching to the choir at this point.
