I dont disagree with that. If you look at Germany's numbers, they are talking about growing their solar power generation 6 fold in a period of 14 years.

However, I am also struck by the fact that the single most ambitious country in the area of solar power is only talking about 3% of their power generation coming from solar in 2020. The growth might shock us all, but it would need to grow something like 5x faster than current projections to make a real dent in power generation from fossil fuels.
