Did you see where NASA employees charged $260 million for stuff that included personal items like ipods and video games.


That's less than the change the pentagon drops out of its pocket each month when it pays the Iraq war tab.

I did not, but even I'm a bit surprised by that number.

I have a buddy who is fairly high up in gubbermint. IMO, he has become brainwashed that they are doing good, fighting the holy war, and money is endless and grows on trees. To watch his transformation has been a learning experience for me, and it proves to me that good men and women are consumed by the machine.

I sure hope none of that 260 million went for adult diapers so you can drive all night without stopping so you can attack your boyfriend's new girlfriend. Anyone who wants to sit on top of rocket built by the lowest bidder is a bit nuts to begin with <g>
