From a personal standpoint, it's high time the COMMERCIAL banks spun out their broker-dealer activities.

Secondly, if broker-dealers are going to be involved in credit creation and/or they are going to kiss the Fed's ass, they ought to be regulated like banks.

If not, then there is no regulation and no bailouts, point blank.

What's going on now is a comedy or errors, but would you expect anything more after:

IRAQ, KATRINA, BEAR...
