Dear Friends and Family,

Justin is walking in this years Children's Hospital 2-mile Walk-A-Thon fundraiser! He saw a commercial for it on TV last week and came to us and asked if he could do it 'to help the kids that are still in the hospital'. Naturally we were moved at this tremendous act of thoughtfulness. We will always be grateful to Children's for the care that they gave Justin. Those of you familiar with Justin and his battle with ADEM (http://www.myelitis.org/adem.htm)know that its a miracle that he's even able walk 2 miles in just 2 short years since leaving Children's. Today, he plays soccer and baseball like any other 9yr old with only minor limitations.

Children's Hospital Boston is a wonderful place, a truly unique hospital—one of the best pediatric institutions in the world, giving hope to so many kids and their families, constantly finding new ways to treat or cure an amazing variety of diseases. The doctors and nurses here never say "never" and they treat kids from all over the world. Some have families who can't afford to pay for their care. Children's takes care of them all! And it's very involved with the neighborhoods around it—helping low-income and at-risk kids.

Your donation will make a difference in kids' lives and will help Justin in his effort to "pay it forward". Who says that a null old can't make a difference? There are two ways to help:

1) Go online and sponsor Justin by using your credit card at howtohelp.childrenshospital.org be sure and leave him an encouraging message!

2) Send a check or money order payable to Children's Hospital to: 12 Paddock Hill Dr, null, MA 02347. Please add an encouraging message in your memo. The walk is June 8th. Once the hospital receives the donation it takes a week for it to show on the above web site.

Best Regards,

Justin Porrello and Family
