It was totally inappropriate to have done it. At best, it was an extreme cast of pandering, while at worst, it was really an abuse of presidential power for political purposes. Certainly not a foreign concept for the corrupt Clinton administration.

same folks whining about the populist gas tax move by clinton. All depends on whose ox is being gored. BTW, opening the strategic reserve a bit now would have what effect on price of oil and gas over the next several months?/ i bet more than gas tax holiday. not arguing its merits just commenting--havent thought about its merits yet. What do you think?
