I agree with that. The Gulf War was the way to go, but there too we stopped before the job was done. If we'd gone after Saddam then, the Iraq War would have been moot.

I know a majority supported the War initially but Iraq's location & demographics spelled trouble from the get-go.

I'd think a majority supported the war because of the purported mushroom cloud, et al.
