and we have been waiting 1400 years for islam to fail. It never fails outright but it sometimes goes quiet and secular forces rise. Go ask any young Egyptian girl wearing a hijab to show you some photos of her grandmother in the 1950s. Grandma will be wearing Western dress with no hijab, for sure. The pendulum swings both ways. as to pan arabism...you cant kill nationalism au contraire, pan arabism is dead as a doornail. ps building a wall is not pro active it is merely reaction. not if it's part of an active strategy.
