AQ has more members than ever (AQ in Iraq didn't exist before the war), the majority of Iraqi people will be Talibanized (see the current rights of women in Iraq), and the US gains a prime ally, for Iran and together they will control the largest oil reserves in the world.

Total bull.

And we've invested $3 Trillion (yes that is a good estimate of what this war will eventually cost), over 4K soldiers lives, unknown other US casualties and a really unknown number of families and individuals psychologically torn apart.

We haven't "invested $3 Trillion". That is six times the cost of the war to date and you know it.

Yes, we have lost 4,000 soldiers and will undoubtedly lose more. This is the cost of our freedom and trying to protect ourselves against future attacks. The Left has been underthinking the problem since day one, it was totally predictable that you would do just that, and the fact that it has dragged on longer than it should have makes the challenge even bigger.

I don't expect you to understand or agree about it.
