The extreme right wingnuts LIKE Bush. They've been VERY pleased. They HOPE McSame will be as "good".

I know. This is what I've been probing for. The Reps on this board can't bring themselves to admit that Bush has in fact not been very good. Neither can McCain. Which is precisely why he is very vunerable. You have to be rather extreme not to want something better than what we have now, and McCain is most definitely going to have to convince 50.1% of the voters that he is in fact going to be not only better, but substantially better than what we have now. How is he going to do that without contrasting what Bush is doing wrong now vs. what he will do? The Dems don't have that problem. McCain can yell and scream all he wants that the Dems would be worse, but if he can't articulate why he is better than Bush, he will be tossed just as surely as Bush is walking out the door in 2009.
