Listening to the pundits chatter about what could happen in the Democratic primary campaign next, I am envisioning playoff football games where the final score is 24-23. Since the margin isn't over x points, a committee sits to meet and decide who made the more difficult touchdowns and whether they should award bonus points or just declare one team the winner arbitrarily, because that team could do better in the championship next week.

Wait until we teach our kids that numerical contests can always be disputed if you feel like you should have won, and you think you are the best player to compete in the next game for your school.

That way lies madness. It's more of this "there's no failure, just deferred success!" nonsense.

I agree. I'd say those were points 3 and 4.
