To all: Thanks for the debate. I have other things to do now, and it is clear nobody is going to change their minds.

Civil disobedience has its place.

So does supporting our elected leaders. Personally, I don't think this country has had any situations that call for civil disobedience for a very long time, precisely because we do have elected leaders, and they can be voted out without taking to the streets and prolonging whatever agony the country is engaged in.

Sure Iraq costs too much, and the Iraqis should pay for the new democracy they're getting. Why make it take longer and cost more with all this protest and wrangling over it?

Get it done, then leave. It ain't done yet.
