I think we can agree now that obama has won. In order for him to win the election, his primary metrics need to improve. He got 1/3 of the white vote in IN. Black vote is 90% and will remain that in the general. Many of those white hillary voters might go to McCain. How does obama do better? Wright will come back as an issue, esp if God forbid, he starts talking again? You said obama wouldnt win the nomination because of american racism. Maybe you should have said the general because to me this right McCain has the early lead. Here is my view. Obama has to make a giant move to the middle. We will know this has happened only when some of the most liberal posters on this thread start to worry who the real obama is. Since you are one of these guys, can you live with a centrist triangulator as your candidate. I think you can, because there is no way for you to move to mccain because of iraq, and the economy. But he will need to make you squeal a bit for centrist obama to work in getting independent and republican voters in line.
