The debt can be paid if the growth is there. This will take changes in the government, tax structure, resource allocation as you say, not necessarily in the monetary policy.

Hyperinflation is NOT necessarily the end game.

And there will be many bull and bear markets and mini-cycles of "inflation" and "deflation" as it's commonly defined on these boards.

This is one of the richest countries in the world - still - I am so shocked at how negatively it is viewed from within.

First order of business is to kick out Bush.
