It's GREAT for people to be bilingual- they make better business people- so it's good to keep your native language as long as you learn English. Other foods, other ways of living, if offered peacefully, as most are in this country, enrich us

I agree with this completely.

What I don't like is having multiculturalism shoved down my throat, ala Clinton era (I was a government employee at the time). And I don't like people like Wright, and by association that can't be denied, Obama, putting me in boxes where I don't fit. I had that type of thing shoved down my throat too, in government funded conferences.

It has to be my choice. When it is the government's choice, I'm against it.

It's been challenging. Thanks for the way you presented your views.

I don't know where I am on the political spectrum. On some issues, I would be center; others, between there and far right.

Well at least here people are nicer to one another and those with opinions that differ are not banned... This at least makes it a more integrated thread and that's the only one I can find on S.I.
