Eh, first you must remove the number of participants who were not in the prior game.

That includes not only the "n" people but also people who were in during the past but skipped the last round. Then redo the percentages.

Anyway, to get back to something you mentioned on another site which I overlooked unintentionally I don't think you have to trade very much to do well in this contest. I think one of these was won by someone who held the same picks for the entire time.

I hope anyway, because once I get a grip on what I wish to "buy" for this round I had intended not to aggressively trade in and out due to other commitments.

Perhaps allowing latecomers but with a 1% penalty brings down our averages vs the S&P500 AND we may need a larger sample size...

The group calculations takes the latecomers position relative to the S&P into account, but as far as individually they're bring the average down.
