His immediate "unite" problem is the women vote. And I think the best one for that would be Gov. Sebelius or Napolitano.

With regards to Webb, he could help with Defense. But then if he wants a unity candidate, he could give Defense to Gen. Powell. Courting Powell would bring in those Repubs who reject Bush and his policies.

Besides, Lieberman is staunchly pro-Iraq war and Obama is against it. Hence they do not make a good pair.
