If Obama loses and Hillary gets another shot in 2012, I think she would still be vulnerable, simply because she was the one who couldn't close the deal in the end, leaving her political weight in doubt.

If Obama wins (and Hillary is not on the ticket), Hillary would have to decide if she really wants to do all this again at 68 against the incumbent VP. Also not easy.
