The simple truth is that a liberal nitwit wrote a book and you guys bought it lock, stock and barrel -- probably without ever having read it.

The means by which the $3 Trillion figure was reached is not justifiable by any reasonable method of calculating costs. Even if one expands the term to "opportunity cost" (a broader definition that leaves behind the basic concepts of costing), you cannot begin to reach the $3 Trillion figure.

The best estimate of the true cost of the war to date is about $517 Billion, although, that reflects some charges that are not incremental.

Again, this is just liberalism as a tool of the terrorists -- nothing more, nothing less.
