can answer this best by using an example. In '94, Al Gore was instrumental in legislating the low-flush toilet in an effort to reduce water consumption. What happened? For every low-flush toilet put into service, water consumption has risen due to the need for multiple flushes to adequately empty it.

Government regulation gone awry, and Gore, himself, was instrumental in making it happen.

I have low water flush toilets in my house ... in fact they are dual flush..i assume you know what that is. I bought them at Coscto and they are great. I NEVER flush twice...my water usage is absolutely down and my septic is used respectively less. I also have a Bosch high efficiency dishwasher .. it uses one third the water of a conventional DW. The dishes are spotless. We just bought new washer/dryer for the new house and specifically chose low water use models. Same story. They work very well. In fact, the clothes come out so dry that the dryer cycle is much shorter.

You are full of shit...no other way to put it. If it's up to folks like you, we'd be back to 1965, when cars ran on 8 liter engines that got 10 miles to the gallon.

You simply have nothing positive to add to society. Zero...you and rush limbaugh spend your lives bathed in cynical, caustic, destructive fault finding of the very ideas that move us forward.
