Limbaugh probably WANTS the Democrats to win BIG this year because then he'll have something to RAIL against.

Rush was a BIG factor in getting Clinton elected in 1992 after he lambasted everything Bush Sr. did.

What a crock. Ross Perot got Clinton elected. Clearly.

Limbaugh was asked this question in the runup to the 92 election and answered it quite well. He had been remarkably successful in the four preceding years, since his national launch, while Bush was president. He pointed out that he did not need a particular candidate to be president to be successful, and his subsequent success has proven that to be a fact. He is a success because he is an absolute professional.

Limbaugh is about entertainment, something he is damned good at. That his art is poking fun at liberals is inconsequential. They make themselves easy targets for him.

For 20 years now, the Left has been trying to take him down and they just cannot do it. His research and commentary continue to be superb, and that's why he is the best in the business.

Rush has railed against McCain on many, many occasions. It'll be fun to run those back for the dittoheads as the campaign goes on!
