I was listening to Limbaugh back in 1992 and I can tell you he was POUNDING Bush Sr. I listened to him consistently from his first show in 88 until about 93-94. Limbaugh didn't like Bush SR, but he had absolutely NOTHING to do with Bush losing the election. Bush was outgunned by Clinton's win-at-all-costs crew (Carville, Begala, et.al.) who lied through their teeth for a year straight. But even that wasn't the deciding factor -- it was Ross Perot, and there just isn't any doubt about what cost Bush the election.
