Wolfowitz had limited power and Iraq proved to be much more of a problem than Rummy had promised. Remember all the flags and flowers garbage? Wolfowitz may have his dreams but the Bushies are oil people with strong ties to the Saudis who are simply loving the ability to charge top dollar for their limited supplies. The Saudi economy had been in a world of hurt for decades and this is reviving their fortunes along with those of the Iranian Mullahs. The best laid plans of kooks....
