I wasn't the one who brought up seeing the doctor when you have a cold. That was the other person's ludicrous example. Of course you shouldn't bother healthcare providers when you have a cold.

And nobody suggested that going to the emergency room is the only way to see a doctor. It's just the only method for a lot of people who don't have health coverage, and can't afford to see a regular doctor.
