I read a couple of Franken's political books; good punch lines but the political themes were heavyhanded, IMHO. I didn't want to comment on his current Senate run because I haven't read a word about it. I think he is trailing in the polls but even that I am not sure of. I could make up a lot of stuff and claim to be an expert when I'm not but then I have to keep track of what I lied about, and that's just too much work. ;<) Since my knowledge is spotty, please discount my opinion accordingly.
