Hey, its okay with me if you wanna repost anything I write anywhere you like. I suspect if they know its something I posted you'll get even more arguments and putdowns than you otherwise would is all. But I'm not putting you up to it. I think a number of folks who post there read this thread anyway, if only to see if and what we're saying about 'em lately.

Calling my attention to that thread today, I see this. Obama would be a role model for racial de-emphasis, with feet in both camps and life experiences to match. It will be harder for folks to play up black and white if you have a president who is, in effect, both. Message 24571605 That is just wishful thinking taking the place of actual observation and am gonna comment here on it. What I find most personally disappointing about Obama is that he hasn't been that, though he could have been. Instead he sought out an anti-American demagogue who peddles racial resentment and a "black value system" and never seems to have uttered a contrary word. He only repudiated the message and his 20 year personal relationship with the man after his Presidential campaign was endangered. He certainly never contemplated doing that otherwise. Obama has in his books and his life decisions EMPHASIZED race. This isn't a request for you to post this there. People will see it anyway.
