I wonder if Barack H Obama told his followers to bet on "Big Brown".

Actually Barack did say that he was betting on "Big Brown" to show. Which is saying first or second place in the race.

It was just another calculated attempt by Obama to appeal to the blue collar crowd that isn't voting for him ;-)

"This win is for all the blue-collar workers at UPS, all the blue collar workers at my job and for myself because I'm a blue-collar worker," Pompa told the Louisville Courier-Journal afterward.

Pompa owns a trucking firm, Truck-Rite Corp., of Brooklyn, N.Y., and named his horse Big Brown after renewing a major contract with UPS Freight. UPS spokesman Norman Black said Pompa's company handles all UPS freight in and out of New York City.
