Geode, you are one of those people who mean well, but the horror of the unintended consequences of your thinking is not something you experience. Because unintended consequences are often three or four steps removed from the decision which leads to them, people are often unaware that they are even responsible for the bad outcomes of their "good" decisions. I take it you do know that LOTS of people are suffering and dying for lack of organ transplants. I'm not crying about how you react. It's not my problem if you are rude, abusive and obnoxious - it's yours. Not only are you responsible for great suffering, you are rude and abusive with it. Which says more about you than me. In case you haven't noticed, there is already plenty of profit motive in care for the indigent. Have a look at the cash flow in the medical guild to see what I mean. It's measured in mega$billions. They all get paid and plenty! Mqurice
