And if GW is really man made, then of course it's imperative. So it's a no brain-er.

I am beyond the man made stuff...regardless of the science, the action required is required, GW or not, man made or not.

Which is the bottom line. I happen to believe there is something to GW. But, that isn't really relevant. I would have the same viewpoint with respect to energy regardless. Not only for the reasons you list, but there is also the whole peak oil thingy.

It is better to start to address problems as early as possible. Waiting until energy is in major crisis is playing with fire.
