I happen to believe there is something to GW. But, that isn't really relevant. I would have the same viewpoint with respect to energy regardless. Not only for the reasons you list, but there is also the whole peak oil thingy. It is better to start to address problems as early as possible. Waiting until energy is in major crisis is playing with fire.
