Oh, I didn't have to read about it...LOL I remember my sister drawing the lines on the back of her legs during the war years when she was a secretary for a ship building company. She used a colored lotion for her legs and then penciled the line on. I have memories of many things rationed during those years....and I was a small child. <ggg> Do any remember the little yellow ball that came in little cartons of lard to make margarine? I got to mix that for my Mom to keep me entertained when she was preparing dinner. It worked!
