Al, DR says it's a "crusade" on the part of the Islamic extremists, and I agree.

Now tell me how it's a "crusade" on our part. Is it part of the mission to convert Iraqis to Christians, and if so, how many have we converted so far?

Some, who knows...how many crusades did the pope launch...five or six? History is not on the side of christians on this one. I am not fond of religions anyway. .

The region has been a battle field for centuries, more recently for oil. The brits, us, the brits again with us. Maybe these people are tired of us f-ing around with them and their assets. Want to guess as to what we would do if they had been launching crusades and invading our country every 20 years or so? Fine...so now you and DR will accuse me of being unpatriotic and anti American...i just know that we (the west that is) have been behind a lot of bad stuff in the region for a long time...time to take stock and learn from the past.
