You shouldn't need the might of the NRA to dispense with that. They help. In particular they helped push the "Protection of Lawful Commerce in Arms Act" through. It did pass 65-31, so it likely would have passed in the NRA didn't lobby during the run up to the bill, but they helped get it on the agenda. Edit - My response was a better response to "you don't need the NRA to...", but you actually said "you shouldn't need the NRA to..". To that my main response is I certainly agree.
