Don't forget that a non-confidence vote will only result
in an election if the government if defeated by the motion.
That is certainly possible with the current minority Conservative
government.

IMO its quite probable that the Conservatives would be re-elected, if we have an election any time this year.

The Liberal party has money problems and lacks an effective leader, while the NDP seem to be self-destructing. The Greens may start to make some progress but I think they also have the wrong party leader. The Quebec Bloc also seems to have run out of steam.
