Sorry Lane3,

I owe you an apology. My only defense is that I was playing online poker and I had just busted out a player that had no idea why I could take all is money by playing a 9-10 suited against his pocket queens. The fact that I had a straight flush draw and a pair and was a 60-40 favorite after the flop and there was more than enough money in the pot to justify my play made me nothing more than a %#@%@$#%# idiot, and a @$%$#% moron to him.

And around that time was when I was reading your post. I admit I misread the [you ignoramus] due to my own hyper sensitivity.

And that it wasn't early for me, but late. (up all night).

Anyway if you really really want an answer, here it is.

First the longevity study that was presented, I assume, to rebut my posting of the raw data. If I am going to be rebutted, I would prefer the accurate study and not one that the author himself admits is not the best way to represent the data. I feel injecting deaths into other countries raw data to be a faulty methodology.

I also feel the data could be valuable in the debate on health care. I know others consider it a garbage stat. I don't know about that. Longevity seems to me one of many statistics that should be considered in the study on health care. And accurate views on that study is better than faulty inaccurate ones.
