In So. FL we'd be happy to just have some 4 lane highways even if they didn't lead to anywhere.

The Arkansas state highway dept is out of control here. It's run by commissioners appointed by the governor, only when one dies or quits. They are not subject to the voters. We have new four lane highways everywhere to nowhere, but our existing roads are falling apart. You don't have TV coverage of ribbon cutting ceremonies for fixing potholes... You constantly complain about gov't in Arkansas but do you ever do anything about it. Nope. That makes you a whiner.
