PBR started needs to kick off procurement now. Need to inform industry to get ready for ordering equipment.

"If you look into what represents a system of production, you are talking about USD2 to 4 billion. entre 2 e 4 billions of dollars. Extrapolate the volumes and it is going to be several billion of dollars.

Formigli gave some examples of the materials that are not manufactured in Brazil today but that will be required to extract oil from pre-salt.

If demand is going to be too big, this demand signals to the market that they can gear up to produce in Brazil. most likely wants local production. Limiting factor is the speed they need to get the equipment to kick start productrion faster.

If government increase the requirements and this increases lead time PBR most likely stand their ground. They can show how much money goverment will get early in the game.
