Actually, its a little more complicated that that.......you see Z is only part Jewish. i-noys, being the clever guy that he is, senses that the Christian part of Z is repulsed by the Jewish side...hence the ambivalence. It seems Z owes i-noys a debt of gratitude for bringing that struggle into the light..........
