The war in Iraq, in my view, was of strategic importance in defending ourselves. The situation is not as simple as, "if they didn't attack us directly, we should not be engaged in a war with them".

Yeah, yeah...I know. I have read this line of non sense from you already.

This is the black-and-white with which the Left sees it (and some of you, for example, Parsons and Z, apparently believe even a direct attack doesn't warrant a war), and while it is simple, it doesn't lead to a sensible strategic result.

Ok fine...I don't know if Chris really feels this way, but it doesn't matter. This is me...I don't believe a direct attack does not merit a response...ok...got that now.
