Comments I have heard from the conservative judges on the Supreme Court basically said that Roe v. Wade is sufficiently established as part of our judicial history that they don't see it being repealed outright.

But I am not a legal beagle. If someone can shed more light on that, please do.

I believe the property rights issue left an out where state legislatures could essentially step in and create standards whereby arbitrary "taking" wouldn't happen. But I am not 100% on the details there either.

We have had this debate before, whether one trusts the feds or their state governments more. There is no broad consensus for either one. Each is made up of fallible, biased politicians of one sort or another.
