Correct. So the costs should double based on inflation alone. With any sort of luck, the number of disabled should drastically decrease over the next 25-50 years. There are a total of 2.9 million disabled vets, most from Vietnam.

If we have anywhere near the disabled vets 50 years from now, either Iraq will be getting significantly worse or we will have one or more much worse conflicts by then.
