Our crime stats just came out the other day and for the 5th year in a row we had 0 murders. Not bad for a city of 61,500 IMO. But gun ownership is still quite high in this state and more then a few are willing to use them. I think that keeps many trouble makers thinking twice.

A bat still isn't a bad idea though.

I think for most tear or pepper gas would be better. The intruder might be big enough to take and bat away and do "you know what" with it. :>)

And that solution eleminates the chance of killing or wounding a swat cop. Or a relative.
