The UN must come to understand that the United States, while trying to allow them a say in the process, continues to be a sovereign that simply cannot be pushed around by other nations. Right...that view leads to the breakdown you described in your prior post. It is the reason the UN is not as effective as it should be. Until the UN, collectively, gets a grip on its own role, it cannot play a significant one. I told you...the effectiveness of the UN is related to the will of its member nations to make it effective. There is little chance of this with your attitude in power and that's exactly what we got for the last 8 years. Al
