With them shorting puts (bullish) on the wider indices I can imagine taking caution. Buffett and Munger are to be trusted as far as disclosure of their positions. In other words, their advice has a degree of self-interest baked in. However, I do agree with them that caution on the berks is on order, which is a decent approach towards honesty.

Through their history they bet on insurance and American gluttony. Both have been lucrative biz in the wake of the boomer gen. Be sure to have a cherry coke and DQ ice cream on the way out the door. Don't worry about your premature death from that, since we have a nice life insurance package to sell to you!
