Assuming Clinton wishes to remain a major player in the Dem party and, most likely, wishes to be the second most powerful, right behind Obama, and the person next in line should Obama falter, then all this activity must signify something. I think Dionne is right, that the strategy is to leave her with as much clout as possible as she exits. I just can't see how it works that way. But . . .
