<<<Now I have some concerns that I'd like clarified on a more practical level. Lets start with the military. Describe the vision of change for the future with respect to American Armed forces. >>>

Barack is no gambler. Take a look at him and take at look at his record, his one year in the Senate.

He talks change but as his advisors have been going around telling world leaders not to worry about change. Change is only campaign talk.

Although Barack is reasonably timid, his supporters are tough. They can trash talk with anyone. They can really trash women who run for office.

If they can only be just as tough with men. If only they can save some of that toughness for the general elections coming up. Their little temper tantrums and crying racism whenever things are not going their way may not work as well. <g>

All excellent questions, to be sure.

But I don't expect Obama to clarify any of them.

He is, after all, a politician, and they do not like to clarify anything more than is necessary. No matter what details you provide, your opponents will use it against you, and you will make somebody somewhere mad, who may, if they figure out the real consequences of the platitudes that you have been mouthing, decide not to vote for you.

Details in presidential debates are fuzzed over as much as possible for that very reason.
